• First, The Impeller Speed

In a certain range, impeller speed is greater, then, the inflating volume of flotation machine is also greater. But if the speed is too high, it will accelerate the wear of impeller cover plate, increasing power consumption and making the slurry surface instability.

• Second, The Clearance Between Impeller And Cover Plate

This gap directly influences the aeration quantity. Tests prove that, when the gap is 6 ~ 8mm it has the best effect. If the gap is too large, the pulp will turn from the anterior leaves to the back blade, reducing the vacuum degree of back blade. Then, reduce the flotation volume. If the gap is too small, the impeller and the cover plate are easy to impact and do friction. The inflation quantity is also decreased.

• Third: The Slurry Inlet Quantity

When the pulp volume into impeller center of the flotation machine is appropriate, the flotation volume is the maximum. In a certain range to increase the slurry inlet quantity, the centrifugal force generated when the pulp was thrown out is also increasing. This will form a negative pressure zone of high vacuum degree, increasing aeration quantity. But if the slurry inlet is too large, it will make the air cylinder which is above the impeller is blocked, causing breathing difficulties. Then, reduce the inflation volume.
