According to the latest export statistics issued by the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China in 2013, the export volume of Shanghai Shibang Machinery Co., Ltd has lead the domestic mining machinery industry. As is shown by detailed data, the total export amount of SBM in 2013 is not only 108% higher than that of the well-known foreign-invested enterprises who have won the second and third places but also beat them in the number of export countries. "As the engineering machinery manufacturing industry declined in 2013, SBM lowered the original sales growth expectation and laid stress on developing its internal strength… which has produced a profound sales growth of 15% year on year, not only realizing its objective but also maintaining its industrial leadership," Director Cui of the international trade center analyzed regarding this.
